Calzificio Schinelli is a company founded in 1960 that produces and sells high quality Made in Italy hosiery products focusing on research, innovation and industrial organization.

Private Label

All stages of the production process are internal to the company and thanks to an important number of machines, Calzificio Schinelli is able to meet all customer requirements.

KNITTING

Knitting represents the first and fundamental phase of the entire production cycle, where different fibres are moulded by means of circular machines to create the fabric hose. The Knitting Department of Calzificio Schinelli uses a fleet of latest generation machines with 204 machines (Lonati and Matec) from 432 to 200 needles, that allow us to make 3D construction, covered, bare, microfibre, patterned and basic polyamide articles from 8 to 200 denarii and from size S to 4XL.

SEWING

During the sewing phase, the hoses are assembled and the semi-finished product is created. Calzificio Schinelli thanks to skilled workers and latest generation robots can offer any type of sewing: full automatic, automatic with operator, 4 needles ( manual flat seam) with or without gusset and Toe sewing machines with or without positioners.

FINISHING

In the finishing phase the semi-finished product is ironed or boarded according to its technical characteristics (type of knitting or yarns). The finishing department using its machines (Costese, Santoni and Takatori) is able to offer steam boarding or infrared ironing and a foot shaped or straight boarded product.

PACKING

In the packing phase, the product is packed and put on pallets. Calzificio Schinelli offers a packing service for any kind of packaging, both using automatic packing machines for envelopes, hanger packs or boxes and manual packing.
